1. To Judea John came baptizing,
Wearing camel skins, at the Jordan preaching:
Now repent, receive the One who's to come,
He is Jesus, the serving One.

2. Jesus came to John to be baptized;
When He rose from the water,
the heavens opened wide.
As down came a dove, God spoke from above:
This is Jesus, My Son beloved.

3. Jesus went to the sea, saw James and John;
They were mending nets when He called unto them;
Immediately their hearts were won,
They followed Jesus, the lovely One.

4. Arriving in Galilee, speaking as He went;
He said, "The time is here to believe and repent.
The kingdom is near; the gospel now has come."
And it is Jesus, the ruling One.
