MOSES AND GOD
(From Shining Star, tune of "London Bridge')

1. Moses floated in the Nile for a while as a babe.
A princess claimed him as her own.
God protected.

2. Moses grew up as a prince in the house of the king.
But he killed a man and ran.
God was watching.

3. Moses learned to lead the sheep all alone in the sand.
Then he saw a burning bush.
God was talking.

4. Moses and his brother too tried to change Pharaoh's mind.
He would not release the Jews.
God was patient.

5. Moses and God's people all finally could walk out
Of this land of slavery.
God was with them.

6. Moses led the people to the Red Sea then across
Then they wandered to and fro.
God was leading.

7. Moses went up to the mount then came down from the cloud
God had given him ten rules.
God was teaching.

8. Moses was a faithful man and he loved to serve God.
We can learn to be like him.
God will help us!
