There were WOLVES and JACKALS, FOX, and DEER; The LEOPARDS roaming everywhere; The CAMELS with one hump—or two? And yet we've named only a few! But a-l-l were created by God, 'tis true, AND GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD. 2. There were CROCODILES so big and strong, And LIZARDS with their tails so long; The SCORPIONS fast, and SERPENTS, too; A "billion" ANTS with work to do! Oh, My! There were LOCUSTS buzzing here and there, And slippery WORMS—they have no hair! The CENTIPEDES and MILLIPEDES with all The legs that one could need! All these were created by God, indeed— AND GOD SAW THAT IT WAS GOOD.
